Pouch Method

Pouch Method

Description:

Technique for permeation rate measurement of a fluid through a film-like polymer.
The material of which the permeation rate has to be determined is welded into a pouch and filled with the test fluid or an absorber fluid. Analytical evaluation is carried out gravimetrically or via absorber technique. This method requires validation of welding technique, such as present at Mecadi, especially for barriere materials.
