Vinylidenefluoride-Chlorotrifluoroethylene-Fluoropolymer (VDF/CTFE)

Vinylidenefluoride-Chlorotrifluoroethylene-Fluoropolymer (VDF/CTFE)Description:

VDF/CTFE is a fluorinecopolymer consisting of vinylidenenfluoride and chlorotrifluoroethylene. This special thermoplastic fluorinepolymer is characterized by an excellent flexibility, a high notches impact strength und a very low shrinkage rate. Because the copolymer becomes brittle at very low temperatures it is used in the low-temperature domain. The fraction of vinylidene in the copolymer effectuates chemical and thermal resistance.

Usage:

  • in the low-temperature domain
  • as insulation-material (envelopes for cables)
  • tubes

Formula:

Vinylidenefluoride-Chlorotrifluoroethylene-Fluoropolymer (VDF/CTFE)
