Permeation measurement cell

Permeation measurement cellDescription:

A permeation measurement cell is a testing unit for permeation rate measurements. The actual process of permeation takes place in this cell: The solid sample divides the cell in two chambers so as to allow no other particle stream between the two chambers but permeation through the sample. The chamber filled with the test substance (“feed”) is called feed chamber. The other chamber, filled or floatet with a substance of defined composition, is calle permeate chamber. The amount of permeate arriving there is determined and will result in the final permeation rate.
