Description:

Synthetically manufactured, fluid or solid material with all the characteristics of resins defined in DIN 55958 (cf. resin). Synthetical resins are produced from polymerisation or polycondensation.

According to their condition of aggregation, one differs between the following:

  • Liquid Resin
  • Solid Resin
  • Weichharze
  • Soft Resin

Further more, one distinguishes resins according to their chemical composition:

  • Epoxy Resin
  • Melamine Resin
  • Alkyd Resin
  • Urethane Resin
  • Phenolic Resin
