FFKM (perfluorinated rubber)
Description:
Perfluorinated elastomers (FFKM’s) are elastic sealing-materials with a natural rest capacitiy, as well as good adaptation-properties to seal surfaces with equal chemical resistance to chemicals to PTFE. O-rings produced from this material are characterised by an exceptional good resistance to chemicals and heat. Seals made of perfluorinated rubber resist attacks from almost all chemicals and they are applicable to high temperatures (till 260°C) in long-term conditions. Perfluorinated rubber is also known as KALREZ® by DuPont respectively CHEMRAZ® by Greene Tweed.
