Permeation tubes

Permeation tubesDescription:

Permeation tubes are small, inert tubes containing a chemical compund in its pure form. The chemical is in a two phase equilibrium (either between its gas and its liquid phase or its gas and its solid phase). Out of this tube passes off pemanently a precisely defined amount of the chemical. This kind of tube is used for calibrating devices, such as gas analyzers.
